Varieties at a glance

Taste and best uses are subjective. We’ve tested each variety in multiple ways and the best uses are what we liked best for a given variety. All varieties can be used in any preparation method - baked, roasted, raw, sauces, dressings, etc. They will all add flavor to your recipes but some more so than others. Storage is something we no longer set a specific time for because of the variables that affect garlic. Just keep in mind that once a bulb/head of garlic is broken the shelf life for the remaining cloves will decrease more quickly. See FAQ for more on this subject.
